Delicious and cheap food !!! Crisp operation! Nice ambience All-round perfect evening! (even if for me personally with a little too much glutamate)

Service good. Quality of the food okay. However, for a Swabian wine tavern and especially for the prices shown, the portions have to be larger. I was disappointed with the crème brulée. 8.50 € for a dessert is already an announcement ..... On the small glass bowl, however, there was still paper glue residue from the packaging. The sugar crust was just strewn and not burned. At Lidl I get the same glass bowl for € 0.79 ... unfortunately the dab of cream and half a peach couldn't save anything ... So either adjust prices down or larger portions .... Otherwise recalculate ... Thank you! One star each for service and ambience.

Quaint ambience, nice attentive staff, good food. Good value for money.

Beautiful half-timbered house with a cozy living room, vaulted cellar and inviting beer garden. Good Swabian cuisine. Prices and waiting time are reasonable. Parking is great (there is a free parking garage directly opposite). Staff and portion size are good too! Only the wooden folding chairs outside are a real impertinence.

Came on a beautiful Sunday evening at 6:15 p.m. We ate at 7:45 p.m. Today everyone can decide for themselves whether it is too long ... Had the filter tips, were really delicious, but the portion was really small. For 22 € too little on the plate. Service nice and tried hard.

The first time here I was served rather unfriendly, the second time I regularly forgot about the evening. When it comes to prices, I expect a minimum level of professional service, even if I accidentally sat down at a table instead of registering in the restaurant first. For me it was the last visit.

In short: good food (top-quality fried potatoes, tender beef steak a dream), prices perfectly fine, nice professional service and nice atmosphere on the terrace. Achso and directly opposite a parking garage that is free from 6 p.m. and before that costs 0.50 EUR per hour, so perfect. EWirwaren

Restaurant in an old half-timbered house. Together with some colleagues eaten here, the dishes are fine. Reservations are not always necessary, this time there was enough space available. Please note: only payments possible with a German bank card or cash.

Was with my husband, yesterday, on the recommendation of a good friend. Service was super nice and friendly. Ambience is rustic and cozy. Eat megaaaaa delicious. And as a highlight there was a Kruskovac on the house. Can I recommend to anyone, to the best of my conscience.

Small and fine. Ate well. Salad plate, Sauerbraten with spaetzle and 2 small beer for 19 € .... just good and delicious.

Great restaurant, in a beautiful small center in Gerlinger. Home-like authentic environment. The food is German authentic, exceptional!!!

Food was ok. Waitress seems a bit confused and was not reallly polite. A really strange man (guest) moved from table to table and talked to the other guests. We felt really uncomfortable but that seems ok to the waitress...

This restaurant is very stilish, is a very old house and looks very nice. They have tables inside and outside for the summer time. The food is good quality, compared to any German restaurant, but not at the top; we had beef filet an was good but they did not give us proper knife so it has been hard to get at the end, the filet was very hard to be sliced with a old bold knife. They have a small selection of nice local wines, but they do not accept credit cards, I think this is incredible for a nice restaurant nowadays.

A really nice place to relax and enjoy. Great half-timbered house with great charm and beautiful details. Delicious beer and small fine dishes. Unfortunately I have to deduct one star. The rump steak does not seem to have been the chef's strength, tiny piece of meat, slightly chewy and not ordered as "medium".

This place is amazing. Excellent local swabian food in Stuttgart. Meal portions are very big and food is full of flavour. Anyone who wants good local food at a reasonable price go here !
